Autumn has fallen and the Drakensberg couldn’t be looking more beautiful. The weather has started to cool, making this the perfect time of year to hike, with the summer thunderstorms having abated and the days still long enough to enjoy many hours in the mountains.

Our 84th festive season was, as always, a very merry occasion. From Carols by Candlelight and a traditional Christmas dinner to a New Year’s Eve party with music by Chris Jensen, it was wonderful to see so many returning guests and many new faces having a great time at our hotel. A huge thank you to our guests and especially our exceptional staff for making this festive season such a success.
